The Izumisawa koyodai Residential Park is surrounded by a rich natural setting through which the Izumi River,a pure stream,flows. The Izumisawa Koyodai Residential Park was developed to attract residents and businesses as part of a future large-scale regional development plan linked with the Hokkaido Aeropolis Project. Its total area is 414.5 ha and as of January 2004,provides 4,159 houses for 10,498 residents. This Residential Park offers excellent traffic access,including a shuttle bus service to downtown,where shopping centers and the JR station are located,with a short distance to a highway interchange. The Airport Industrial Complex is,of course,whithin walking distance.In addition,the Korin Bridge,a pedestrian overpass connecting the residential area with the industrial complex,has been completed.
